Skincare
- Cleanser – CeraVe/Amazon – good for oily to normal skin – this Neutrogena cleanser is better for dry skin
- Moisturizer – CeraVe/Amazon
- Combination chemical and mineral sunscreen (no white cast) – EltaMD/Amazon – doesn’t sting or burn around the eyes
- Tinted mineral sunscreen – Australian Gold/Amazon
- Retinol resurfacing serum – CeraVe/Amazon – good for fading post-acne redness and hyperpigmentation
- Foot cream – Kerasal/Amazon – great for smoothing down callouses and cheaper than a pedicure
- Body/hand lotion – Aveeno/Amazon – I love Aveeno moisturizers, they soak into the skin quickly and don’t leave a filmy residue
Wavy/Curly Haircare
- Shampoo – Bounce Curl/Amazon – it’s not drying like most clarifying shampoos
- Clarifying/chelating shampoo – Suave/Amazon – this is good if you have hard water in your house – only use 1x/month and follow with a moisturizing conditioner
- Conditioner – MopTop/Amazon – great for all hair but especially tangly hair
- Conditioner/Leave-in conditioner – TreLuxe/Amazon – also really great if you have tangles (or have a little one with tangly hair)
- Deep conditioner for protein and moisture – Curl Junkie/Amazon
- Deep conditioner for moisture – Biolage/Amazon
- Mousse – Pantene/Amazon (honestly, you can find it cheaper at your local drugstore)
- Gel for curly hair – Jessicurl/Amazon
- Another great gel – TreLuxe/Amazon/Whole Foods
- Lightweight gel for any hair – Boucleme/Amazon (I actually can’t stand the smell of this but if you can get past that it’s a really great gel)
