4 Ways To Wear Olive Green Pants: Fall Edition

Continuing my 4 ways to wear series, here I’ve styled olive green pants 4 ways. These pants are a pretty recent addition to my closet but I’ve been looking for something like them for a while. When I saw they were on sale a few weeks ago I picked them up from Nordstrom. In an attempt to make the pieces of my wardrobe as versatile as possible, I styled these pants 4 different ways that are perfect for fall. The first 2 are quite casual, good for running errands or hanging out with friends. The third is a bit more elevated and the last one is perfect for work.

Olive green is a color that can be worn as a neutral and pairs very well with warm, fall colors. Unfortunately, I don’t have a warm skin tone so I’ve styled them with cool neutrals from my closet that I know look good with my skin tone.

1. Casual: denim jacket, striped t-shirt and black sneakers

This is the quintessential olive green pants outfit 😊 but for good reason. It’s classic, comfortable and always looks good. I don’t know why the pants look so scrunched at my knees in this picture, I promise they look better in real life!

2. Casual: plaid shirt, black vest, black riding boots

Since these pants are cropped, I paired them here with a tall boot for warmth.

3. Elevated Casual: Black sweater, necklace, leopard flats

If you read my post on how to style animal prints, you know that I’ve recently been adding more animal print, especially leopard, to my wardrobe. The flats in this outfit are comfortable and stylish and lend an interesting print to an otherwise basic look.

4. Business Casual: Gray Blazer, black shell, heels

I don’t have a lot of need for business casual outfits right now since I’m working from home, but I know some people are going in to an office. Pop on a blazer and these pants are work-ready. This outfit leans more toward the warmer days of fall or spring since there is quite a lot of foot and ankle exposed but you could wear boots instead.
