Amazon Prime Day Fashion Finds

Amazon Prime Day can be a wealth of great deals or an overwhelming headache. If you have ever searched for clothing on Amazon you probably found yourself with hundreds or even thousands of results with no clue as to what kind of quality you will be getting. So I did some sorting for you.

Note: This is not a sponsored post but it does contain affiliate links. This means that if you purchase something through my link I will earn a small commission but it will not affect the price you pay. Thank you for supporting Style-ish Journey!

Amazon Brands

Amazon has a few of its own brands for clothing and you can expect a consistent quality from them. Daily Ritual and Lark & Ro are two that I like. Daily Ritual prices are more budget friendly and Lark & Ro prices are a little more mid-range. Some of these were on sale even before Prime Day.

Free Returns

Don’t forget that Amazon Prime members have free returns on most items. This makes it very easy to order multiple sizes and styles to try on and return the ones that don’t work out. Just make sure you see the ‘Prime’ logo or ‘Prime free returns’ next to the price. Typically, the refund comes in store credit but that hasn’t been a problem for me.

Fashion Items To Watch On Prime Day

Although I’m a not proponent of buying clothes just because it’s a good sale, I realize that we all need to buy clothes sometime and you might as well get a good deal. Below are some items I found that look like good options. I haven’t tried these myself but I’m interested in trying a few.

Note: Sometimes Amazon has different prices for certain size/color combinations, so watch the price before you click purchase to make sure it’s in your budget. Also, if you add things to your wishlist you will be notified if they go on sale.

Tops

A patterned top is a great choice for video calls or a business casual office. This top from Lark & Ro comes in 2 patterns and 6 solid colors and sizes x-small to xx-large.

This Amazon Essentials cable-knit sweater would be a great addition to your fall/winter wardrobe. Comes in 8 colors, sizes x-small to xx-large.

Great piece for laying or by itself.

Dresses

If you need a comfortable yet stylish dress, check this one out from Daily Ritual. Comes in tons of colors/patterns and sizes x-small to xx-large.

If shopping has become your hobby and you’re tired of having too many clothes but nothing to wear, read my post on 4 reasons you have nothing to wear.

I love having a couple of patterned dresses for work, they’re easy, comfortable and stylish. This one from Lark & Ro comes in tons of patterns and solid colors in sizes x-small to xx-large.

Bottoms

If you want to wear comfortable pants while on your video calls, these ponte leggings come in 5 solid colors and 1 print in sizes x-small to xx-large (also, short, regular, long and extra long).

Shoes

Check out all these cute sneakers! I love having slip-on sneakers to run out the door and these are so adorable.

Other Items To Watch On Prime Day

These next items aren’t fashion related but I wanted to highlight some of my favorite Amazon finds that may be on sale for Prime Day.

Home

  • Instant Pot pressure cookers off. My husband and I bought ours last year on Prime Day and we love it. There is a small learning curve but now that we have the hang of it we can make delicious food in a short amount of time. And since we don’t have central A/C, this is a good option for cooking in the summer because it means we don’t have to turn on the stove. We have the 6 qt and it’s plenty big.
  • Fortunately for me, my dad roasts coffee for us so we always have freshly roasted coffee at home, but if that wasn’t the case, Amazon has tons of Starbucks options from K-cups to whole beans to instant.
  • I know this is a weird one, but I really like “whisker stress free” cat food bowls for our cat. She’s a neurotic eater and these help her to eat slowly enough that she can properly digest her food. We don’t buy much for our cat but these were worth it. 😊

Electronics

  • Keep your eyes peeled for headphones. I love bluetooth headphones but I’ve never had a pair that lasted more than 8 months so I typically keep a backup around. I used mine a lot before I was working from home but now I use them to answer my work phone calls so they are totally worth it for me!
  • Kindles are a great gift for anyone who loves to read. I read books in any form – paperback, hard cover, audio, kindle, you name it. I’m not picky. Or take advantage of a Kindle Unlimited subscription.
  • I’m probably going to get a Fire TV stick because one of our smart TV’s isn’t so smart anymore.
  • White noise machines are amazing and I couldn’t sleep without mine. It really helps to drown out any other noise and helps me to fall asleep faster.

Beauty

Target Sales

Target is running sales on the same days as Prime Day, so if you don’t see anything you like on Amazon, check out Target. They have tons of basic clothing pieces on sale as well as beauty items and electronics.

  • This Neutrogena face cream is my favorite moisturizer. It’s lightweight enough for my oily skin but provides really good moisture. (I know it’s confusing that it says for extra-dry skin but this is the only version that’s unscented and it’s actually very lightweight).
  • Alikay Naturals makes great products for curly hair and I love this lightweight leave-in conditioner. It’s in a spray form, which I like, and it smells like candy! (Notice that lightweight is a theme for me in beauty products!)
  • I really love these Jockey slip-shorts. They stay in place and are great under skirts and dresses.
  • The Maybelline Age-Rewind concealer is a best seller for a reason. It’s a great concealer for under-eye or any other blemishes. I haven’t found that it’s great on dry skin, though.
  • Kinky-Curly Knot Today is THE best detangling leave-in conditioner!

I hope these were helpful finds for you. If I end up purchasing any clothes I’ll share them on my Instagram page so come follow me there.
