Casual: Long-sleeve T-shirt, Jeans, Riding Boots, Coat
This is a great outfit for those in-between days where the temperature can range 20 degrees in 12 hours. I recently replaced my old riding boots with these Born boots and I’m very happy with them.
- Long-sleeve t-shirt: Banana Republic, similar
- Coat: Secondhand, this one is similar
- Brushed fleece Jeans: Old Navy, if you don’t need the extra warmth, this pair is similar
- Boots: Nordstrom, similar
- Scarf: Secondhand, this one is similar
- Hat: Amazon, I don’t think this is the exact color I have, but it’s the same brand and style
Athleisure: Sweatshirt, coat, leggings, sneakers
This winter outfit is great for being at home and and then quickly throwing on a coat and sneakers to run errands. The leggings are fleece-lined but if you don’t need that much warmth opt for regular black leggings. These sneakers are really comfortable. I wear them mostly for indoor workouts so they stay relatively clean.
- Sweatshirt: Under Amour, it’s a burgundy color in real life. Any sweatshirt will do but I like that this one is a bit longer than most
- Coat: Secondhand, this one is similar
- Fleece-lined leggings: Amazon, non-fleece lined version here, I also really love these leggings
- Sneakers: Under Amour, the color I have goes in and out of stock so I have been known to buy 2 pairs at once when they’re in stock 😊
Casual, Cozy: Oversized Sweater, Leggings, Boots
Here is another cozy winter outfit idea that transitions easily to going out in the winter. I threw on my waterproof boots, coat, and a hat to grab a few pictures while it was snowing! I highly recommend having 1 or 2 pairs of waterproof boots in your closet. Blondo, Merrell, and Sorel make some cute waterproof boots.
- Sweater: Amazon
- Coat: Secondhand, this one is similar
- Fleece-lined leggings: Amazon, non-fleece lined version here, I also really love these leggings
- Boots: Nordstrom
- Hat: Amazon
Elevated Casual: Black Sweater, Black Skinny Jeans, Camel Coat, Camel Boots
On the occasion that you need to dress up a bit this winter, I love this 2-toned outfit and the combination of black and camel. You could easily add earrings and/or a necklace to really jazz it up. You can’t go wrong with a black, crew-neck sweater.
- Sweater: Banana Republic, similar here, and cotton option here
- Jeans: Nordstrom
- Coat: J.Crew, similar, similar
- Boots: Amazon
Casual: Sweater, Puffer Coat, Jeans, Snow Boots, Plaid Scarf
Too much faux-fur? Nah! It would probably look cuter if the fur on the coat and boots matched, but I still like this outfit. These boots are seriously warm and have excellent tread to keep you from slipping on icy sidewalks.
- Sweater: Everlane, similar here, and here
- Jeans: Old Navy
- Coat: Nordstrom, mine is old, similar here, and here
- Boots: Amazon
- Scarf: StitchFix, but this one is similar
- I forgot to put on my gloves for this picture, but I wear these pretty much every time I leave the house in the winter. They match the gray hat from the third outfit and you can get them in tons of colors.
